Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Reward for Lost Dog in Mexico to $20,000
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for leads about the missing pet named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey published a Google maps location of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of updates concerning our pet Halo kindly get in touch with us. Big reward for finding her. We are all praying she's ok and can be back with us shortly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
Initial Reward and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially disclosed that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has subsequently shared several photos of the cherished canine on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was originally announced, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a week, the player and his loved ones doubled the sum.
"Our only wish is our girl home," he stated in another request on his online platforms after the decade-old dog went missing.
A recent picture share is a grayscale image of the beagle sleeping, her head resting in the crook of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has additionally circulated a message from his spouse Colleen on social media saying they have some "pressing concerns" regarding the incident and are concerned the family "may never obtain clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. I don't think we ever will," the spouse's message stated.
The Welsh leader became part of Mexico's premier club Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his debut in the Mexican league in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the pioneering high profile UK player to participate in the Mexico's top division.
